Jean Mohr: A Photographer's Journey CD-ROM
Interactive CD-ROM of Jean Mohr's images
£25.00 including postage and packing

Jean Mohr has been active since the 1950s as a photojournalist for various UN bodies, as well as being an inventive artist of photographic works. He is widely known for his work with the writer John Berger on a series of books that redefined documentary photography from the 1960s to the 1980s - of which the best-known, still in print today, is A Seventh Man (1975).

Collected on this CD-ROM are more than 1,200 of Jean Mohr's finest images in black and white and colour. The CD-ROM also includes interviews, video footage, text and references grouped by themes such as photo-stories, long-term works on migrants, country people, music and formalist work in which Mohr develops his own original and poetic visual language.

All the images can be viewed using the searchable database, which allows the user to make individual selections using complex keyword searches. Each image can be viewed on the screen in large format or displayed as part of a slide show constructed by the user. A separate section uses images, text, audio interviews and video footage to illustrate and elaborate upon Jean Mohr's work and life in a thematic way.
